La estancia exquisita. La habitación amplia y muy confortable, el baño también muy amplio y cómodo. Mucha tranquilidad. El desayuno perfecto, incluso diría que excesivo, pero muy bien. No utilicé la piscina porque no hacía tiempo para ello. Pero lo más destacable es la amabilidad de la propietaria ya que hizo todo lo posible para que me sintiera como en casa. Sin duda repetiré.

What can I say... the breakfast was wonderful. I have a milk intolerance and typically have great difficulty getting anything suitable to eat. However at a days notice Caroline produced a breakfast suitable for me. A lovely fruit salad. Soya milk and soya yogurt available. The homemade bread was very tasty, the scrambled eggs, made from their own farm eggs, were delicious. Croissants, pain au chocolat, ham and other meats etc as you'd expect. The coffee was some of the best I've had in France.

Chantal and Jean Paul were very accommodating for our last minute trip to Châteauroux, and they communicated promptly and clearly throughout. Le Lavoir is a beautiful and quiet place, and our private room was very comfortable. Good light and peaceful ambiance. The property is right by the river and is near many parks and historic buildings. The owners previously owned a restaurant for over 25 years, and their hospitality really shines. Highly recommend their place.

Very nice property well located with all the facilities. Our room has a massage chair, a big flat screen smart tv, a sound system, a huge bed and sofa bed! the bathroom was nicely equipped as well with a jacuzzi , a tv, two showers… we really had a great time and we left very relaxed. Our host was super friendly and very accommodating. I definitely recommend!

Exceptionally hospitable owner. Great location in center of Châteauroux. Very good price/value relationship. Great outdoor space for summer dining and drinks. Very quiet location for sleeping. Very good breakfast.
