Friendly hospitality from our host Ricardo. He gave us lots of advice on the battlefields and museums of Verdun and local restaurants in walking distance. Ricardo's works of art was lovely to enjoy in all the rooms also spreading outside into tranquil space for breakfast. His home was perfect for parking our truck in his garage safely.

Excellent apartments, safe, immaculately clean, very comfortable and relaxing, spacious, perfectly staged and equipped, quiet location yet close to historic sites and restaurants, close free parking!! I would definitely recommend the Chambre d'hôte et gîte chez Thomas et John to anyone who asks me for a lodging recommendation in Verdun, and I look forward to staying there at my next opportunity!!

This stay was a quintessential French experience in the home of a florist and gourmet cook. Our hostess recommended a wonderful traditional French restaurant down the street for dinner. Our breakfast the next morning was excellent in her beautiful dining room, where we chatted with two German guests. Fresh cut flowers, nostalgic décor, in a quiet neighborhood...made for a very pleasant stay.
