This property is a gem in the outskirts of Vaison la Romaine within the Cote de Rhone. The "Maison" was so much more than we'd expected. It was a 'place of wonders' with large common spaces and more than adequate bedrooms. The house was indeed unique, full of art and collectibles. Our views were expansive with vineyards below and mountains in the distance. Our hosts were warm and accommodating. It was no wonder to us that since opening this property has hosted returning guests year and year. Nearby is the city of Vaison with its Roman ruins and weekly market. It is conveniently located within a short commute to many of the "picturesque small villages" and vineyards of the Cote de Rhone, the focus of many of our travel days. We so enjoyed our slow mornings around the guests table and the greetings from our "new" Golden retriever friend, Gaia. We loved our stay, full of joy at having found this oasis but nostalgically emotional at having to leave.

It’s one of those rare places where the photos really don’t do it justice. Truly stunning location with an incredible view while also feeling very secluded. The bedroom and bathroom were larger than we were expecting and everything worked perfectly & was v comfy. As for our hosts Caroline and Denis, they were unbelievably kind and generous. They also only take a maximum of 4 guests at any one time, so you feel you pretty much have the place to yourself. Oh and the breakfast is exceptional and basically renders lunch unnecessary. We are already planning a return trip in September
