The location is lovely, with a fabulous view over hills and trees. The accommodation was perfect, the hosts are friendly and welcoming and breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread and croissants and homemade jam. We would highly recommend Le Peyroux.

Location is fabulous. We arrived late evening and found it difficult to find but this was the only down. Full of characters property. Exellent service. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed every second staying there. We travelled with our small dogs. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

Beautifully designed rooms, the bed was comfortable, the owners went out their way to accommodate us. We required gluten-free meals and we got it. Menat is a surprisingly interesting little village with quite a bit of history. Enjoy the little gem of a museum and the history of the Cluny church. Beautiful rivers all around. Note that the restaurants in the village shut early.

If our stay had been longer this property would have been perfect, with outside facilities for relaxation during the evenings. Cathy and Daniel's welcome was wonderful and the homemade breakfast was much appreciated. It was lovely to be greeted by a cool room after our journey of that day.

I had a wonderful stay at Éléphant Bleu. What I especially liked was the warm and inviting hospitality offered by the hosts, Caz and Terry. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my visit comfortable. The dinner I shared with them was not only delicious but also showcased their attention to detail and commitment to providing an exceptional experience. It truly felt like a home away from home.

It's a fully renovated old millhouse owned by a Dutch couple. Located in the wild nature, it has a great charm - you are right on the river and actually, can walk on the small island next to the house. We were in the coldest season, imagine how great is in in summer! The owners served us a great dinner, tasty and delicious like you are in the top-class restaurant. Very friendly people, they took care about all our requests and gave us a great room. Fast wi-fi, lovely breakfast, a very comfortable bed. And all of this for the very fair price, probably the best price/performance from our week travel in France. Must visit if it's on your way - do not miss it!
