We are a Syrian family we came from Saudi Arabia and honestly I say, If you want to have a rest of the world hastles, and live in peace of mind then ignore what is happening in the world the you have to go and stay in this place and with those people, just sit there in the garden before sunset and watch that apple tree dropping it's fruits and I'm sure you may discover something more important than Isaac Newtons gravity

Welcoming gite d'etape with a buzzing terrace cafe - quite a surprise after emerging from the empty hills - very friendly proprietor and family. Took care of me as the sole overnight guest that night and the sole evening diner - though the place is big and surely handles large numbers at other times. Attractive setting by a lake. Not remote enough to be a mountain refuge but high enough to attract a lot of walkers and cyclists. Cold water and cold beer welcome after cycling the Col des Pailheres in July.

Where to begin.. The hosts were unbelievably welcoming, accommodating and gracious. Their service went above and beyond any expectations we could have had. The food from breakfast to dinner was an extraordinary showcase of the local terroir, including home made yoghurt! The hosts have done an amazing job renovating the manor from beautiful door handles to an amazing shower. We could not recommend this place enough. Also they have three amazing cats and a beautiful dog.

Calm and quiet location at a cool place. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our name at the entrance was super nice. Excellent kitchen. Don’t miss it!

We were really confortable in Chaumine aux étoiles! Nicole and Emmanuel were really nice, the dinner and breakfast were delicious! If we ever go to Camurac again we will come back to Chaumine aux étoiles!
