We stayed at Villa Martinus for two nights, and of the five bed and breakfasts we stayed at on our trip to Southern France, this is by far our favorite! Martin, the host is wonderful, and goes out of his way to make sure you have a great stay! He even let my husband borrow a jacket when he forgot his at home! Our room and sitting area were very large and comfortable. The bathroom was also roomy, modern and brand new. Breakfast was also by far our favorite and consisted of meats, cheeses, croissants, bread, yogurt, a large assortment of jams that Martin's mother makes, and more. He even made us scrambled eggs one morning. The pool looked amazing, but it was unfortunately too cold to use it when we were there. Martin also speaks excellent English, which is a plus.

This was the jewel of a 3 week road trip. Elegant property, views of the village, views of the Mediterranean. Truly luxury. Wonderful hosts/owners, easy walk to the historic village, bus stop to Cagnes (and trains to Nice/Monaco or Cannes) at the foot of the drive. Will certainly return to enjoy the good life in Haute Provence! A real treat.

Excellent welcome and great willingness to meet the needs of a family with a 2-year-old girl. Breakfast not included, but large kitchen/living room where you can enjoy an excellent take-away breakfast from the nearby boulangerie-patisserie.

The villa is very well located 5 minutes by car from St. Paul-de-Vence. The views from the terrace of the renting apartments are absolutely stunning. The apartment is small, but has everything you might need for a short stay, perfect for couples. The hosts are very nice and they give you the privacy needed. The breakfast was really good, fresh and more than enough to start the day. The free parking place in the courtyard is also very useful.

Get ready for one of the best breakfasts you will ever have. Everything is locally sourced and fresh and tastes incredible. Breakfast is normally served on an incredible terrace overlooking the pool and the beautiful Provence countryside. The rooms are incredibly well designed and smart and the beds are fantastically comfortable. The pool is perfect, the views are like something from a movie and the owners Sophie and Morgan are two of the most lovely people you will ever meet, full of joy, warmth and charm, we can't wait to go back. They also recommended the most fabulous local places to go visit and even booked our restaurants each night, they know all the best secret places. You're also a short 10min or less drive from so many incredible little picturesque towns including Saint Paul de Vence. If you get the chance to stay at Bastide les 3 Portes, just do it.
