Charming auberge in small old stone hamlet off beaten track deep in Auvergne countryside. Warm welcome from patron Denis. Delicious chicken dinner with tasty local black mushrooms. Room comfortable and warm. Good value, recommended, will return.

Dani is a brilliant host so attentive and happy with occasional glimpses at a wicked sense of humour! At night, with the window open you can hear the static hiss of the stream until it is drowned out by the dawn chorus. The village is so quiet, I hardly heard or saw a car; the peace only being broken by the eccentric church bells but these stop before bedtime. The scenery is beautiful and the people are friendly; a little bit of paradise in a go faster world.
