We chose Une Maison en Touraine because we wanted air conditioning (there are very few accommodations in France that have A/C), as we are fairly heat-intolerant being from Seattle. Our expectations were more than met! We loved the bucolic feel of this bed and breakfast, the careful attention to the charming decor (garden-themed in our room), and the cozy outdoor spaces for lounging. In addition, we were so happy to have access to a small but complete kitchen including dishwasher, so we could cook dinner after a long day of sightseeing. Finally, our host Anne was extremely kind and attentive. She not only provided us with a daily continental/hot breakfast (basket full of breads, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee/tea; one breakfast had eggs and another had crepes), but she also was so kind in providing us first-aid for my daughter's burn. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay with wonderful friendly hosts. Kids most welcome and catered for. Nothing was too much or too difficult. Felt welcome and cared for by both hosts. Amazing property, large garden and firnsly dog. Comfy beds and pillows. Huge fireplace in cosy living room. Full access to guest kitchen including fridge, oven, microwave, nespresso machine all day. Absolutely perfect. Town nearby with lovely bakery, supermarket, fuel and pharmacy. Perfect for families.

This was a special place to stay on our way home. The house is beautiful and also the surrounding garden. Our host, Monique was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated.

Spacious and clean, with a fabulous pool! On arrival we experienced a warm and friendly welcome. A lot of thought had gone into helping us make our stay comfortable with great facilities for a baby. We highly recommend staying :)

The hosts were fantastic, the location idyllic very quiet. The meal what Annie the host presented was excellent, me and my wife,a German couple with their 2 boys(aged 13 & 16) and the hosts all Sat round the farmhouse table together to eat the meal. The meal lasted about 3 hours and the conversation never stopped, a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The other bonus was a swimming pool.
