The B&B is located in an old stone building in the heart of Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer (just a block from the beach) that was beautifully renovated by the owners in 2021 with a lot of attention to detail. Both the common rooms and the bedrooms are charming, each decorated in a certain style, but all equally pretty and tasteful. The bed was super comfortable. French breakfast, including locally sourced specialties such as baguette, croissants, various cheeses, juice, homemade marmalade, and much more, is prepared freshly every morning by lovely hosts Sylvie and Jean-Michel. They truly strive to give their guests the best experience during their stay in Normandy and offer great tips for places to visit, restaurants, etc. Jean-Michel even took us on a bike ride along the shore and showed some of the architectural sights of the area to us (there is much to be discovered) which certainly was a highlight of our trip. We had wonderful days at their place. Definitely a recommendation!

Wonderful place. The location is superb as his the building itself. The food st the restaurant is delicious and offers great value for money. And most importantly the owner and the entire staff are genuinely friendly and caring. Warmly recommended.

Everything. The room was cozy and the breakfast was wonderful. The owners were delightful and we enjoyed talking to them and petting their cats. They gave wonderful recommendations for site seeing as well!

I would rate Les Granges Pelloquin higher than 10 if I could. Everything was perfect! The quiet location along the edge of town with a very unique history of its own; the huge house with a fireplace in the two-story great room and garden just outside; the fabulous French breakfast; and last but not least - a great host. Marie-Caroline was very helpful and provided links to area attractions and suggestions for other sites to visit during our very short time in Bernières-sur-Mer. We will definitely return and plan to spend a bit more time in the area. An absolute gem!
