Set in a beautiful village, this listed residence with granite facades dating from the mid-16th-century welcomes you in an historic setting.

Each of the 5 guest rooms at the La Tour du Lion evokes a specific period through refined decoration. Hence a four-poster queen bed with royal ermine patterns in the Anne de Bretagne room, or woodwork, gildings and eagles in the Emperor's room.

This place was amazing from the minute we stood outside looking at the medieval structure to meeting the check in person, discovering the most amazing room -Marie Antoinette- huge and nice and cool during a heat wave, superbly decorated. The dinner in the garden a real treat with complimentary rum punch! They aim to please. And a perfect breakfast included too! Can’t go wrong with anything at this place. Loved every minute.

This is a special place on a hill overlooking Rochefort en Terre, just under a mile away by foot.our room had a sleeping/eating area, and a huge bath. All was immaculate. The host was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was all from local area—cheeses, bread, yogurts, etc. Can’t say enough about this B and B.
