Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was easy to find, clean, comfortable and quiet. There are 3 bedrooms, one is ensuite and the other 2 share a bathroom. We were sharing with another room of 2 people and never had to wait, it was very easy. The rooms have aircon, the kitchen and lounge areas are spacious, you have plenty of facilities for food and laundry, and places to sit and relax inside and outside. We went for Le Mans Classic and I would definitely stay here again.

The hosts, Martial and Eric, are absolutely amazing. You won't find kinder people easily and they are fully committed to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is delicious, with a selecion of local jams, cheeses and bread. They serve coffee and tea, and have great fruit juice available as well. Listen to Martial's recommendations for restaurants, because the area isn't exactly brimming with lots of high quality establishments. The house is lovely and old, so don't go in expecting a concrete, air-conditioned space, but a room that's full of character and colorful decoration inspired by Aesop's fables. The beds were actually really good, very firm and we slept very well. If you need to go to the toilet at night expect some serious creaking of the house, not even a black-belt ninja can sneak to the toilet without making sound. The sound of the water-mill in the background is perfect for some white noise. The big house has several rooms and a common area with an equiped kitchen where you could even cook your own food. There are some family-accomodations in the other buildings. We generally only ran into others during breakfast and had some great conversations with the other guests. Outside you'll find a lovely (private) island in the river Loir with hammocks, a well-kept tennis court and a small swimming pool. There's also a petanque-court and you'll find plenty of comfortable furniture on the premises that makes relaxing in the shade a breeze. The grounds are perfect for having a picnic, there is plenty of space, grass and trees. If you're looking for an anonymous vacation in an hotel where you can watch the telly or enjoy the luxury rain-shower, this is not your place. If you're looking for an authentic quiet paradise to get away from the busy life with two hosts that will go out of their way to make your stay awesome, then this is THE place.

The setting was lovely and quiet, a great spot to stay for one night or more if visiting local sights. Our host set a beautiful table for breakfast with a wonderful view of the back vista, great coffee and selection of breads.
