it is on the outskirts of the town. very quiet, walking distance to town. the host, mr. jean luc was very friendly and helpful. we had all the privacy and all the help and company in prefect combination. highly recommended for safe and unique staying. very good breakfast.

Very nice and friendly host. Accommodating and helpful. Had fresh figs from the tree in the room. Coffee for breakfast, burger buns, biscuits. Milk, fresh peaches, homemade jam, milk in the fridge.

The nice owners let us move in earlier than the advertised check in time as they realized we arrived from a great distance. The premises were immaculately clean and tidy. Everything felt fresh, new and perfectly maintained. Breakfast was ample and served with care. The hosts offered refills if we ran out of something. They were not intrusive and gave us great advice as to which roads we should take in order to see the best lavender fields which were in bloom at the time. We could elect to leave our car on the street 10-15 meters from the house or on the small street right next to the entrance to the house.

Absolutely loved our stay at L'olivier sur la place! The studio room was the cute French countryside cottage we were hoping for. It has a small kitchenette with gas stove, sink, large fridge/ freezer (stocked with cold water and ice) and ample cookware/ crockery. It has a lovely lavender perfume which is very fitting. The toilet is also separate from the other bathroom amenities which is always appreciated. The included breakfast consisted of fresh bread, honey, jam, orange cake, yoghurt, fruit, tea/ coffee and juice. It was delicious and happily enjoyed in the lovely courtyard garden each morning. It is located in the very small village of La Rochegiron which is surrounded by lavender fields (most of these are harvested end of July). You will need a car to enable access and allow you to explore more of what Provence has to offer. The best part of our stay was definitely our hosts, Patrick and Muriel! It was like staying with family. They went over and above to make us feel welcome and at home, even giving us a ride home from town and taking us to some local lavender fields still in bloom when we though we had just missed out. They don't speak much English and we speak next to no French but this was nothing google translate could not overcome. Could not recommend staying at L'olivier sur la place enough!!

The place is quiet and has a big nice garden to relax. Everything is traditional and simple. The host is very kind. The kitchen was great to have to cook produce from the markets around. Especially great is the location: secluded and still you can walk in 7min to Cruis whit a crocery store and two restaurants
