This is the perfect spot to sit and relax. Having been on the bicycle for 7 weeks and 1500mi, Chateau de Belle Poule was perfect to relax, watch the sunset with a glass of wine and watch the sunrise with a coffee. Everything was thought of by the hosts. Very clean, spacious, and we really enjoyed the mid-1800's buildings. Covered bicycle storage inside the gated complex was provided.

A friendly welcome awaits you at this bijou cyclists’ loft at the very edge of town. Newly set out by the couple who run it, you sleep upstairs in a cosy little room with adjoining bathroom. We were grateful for the supply of fresh air provided by the unit installed on the ceiling. – The bikes meanwhile were safely garaged below, where we were also invited to make use of the fridge.

The location is excellent, the place, close to a quiet river. The apartment is big and very nice and elegant, with all services possible. It's quiet and warm. I hoped to spend more time there, but I'll come back for sure if I'll travel again in that area

I rented one of the studio apartments for two weeks while taking classes at UCO. I liked the location, near enough to UCO to walk to classes each day, plus the neighborhood has some great shops, especially the bakeries. My studio had a kitchenette, so I didn't get to taste Sophie's much touted breakfast, but I was glad I had the option to make my own coffee and grab various creations from the local Boulangerie. It's a family run operation, and I found the owners to be friendly and extremely helpful with regard to transportation and various traveler needs. Knowing the owners were there to help and provide helpful and welcoming greetings made it feel like a home away from home.

If you are looking for a traditional hotel, with white towels and linens, bathtub, fancy soaps or little packets of marmalade, this is not the place. On the other hand, if you would like a slice of life of the French country or a family, this is a great stop for your journey. The hostess is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The house is an easy drive to everything in town. The breakfast includes delicious local products, and I particularly appreciated the kitchen, as well as the opportunity to practice French over breakfast while watching the chickens in the garden!

Lovely convenient location. Place looks so characteristic and atmospheric. Absolutly love the little garden and wooden floors and small touches of nostalgia. Will definitly stay again. Host is friendly and super helpful and nice.
