The hostess made this stay uniquely memorable in our trip through France. She went above and beyond to make certain that we saw the lovely town of La Coste (including the Chateau of the Marquis de Sade). She personally transported us to an adjouning village across the valley, and came back to pick us up. Although she didn't speak much English, and we spoke no French, our hostess went to great lenghths to communicate with us. Of the ten places we stayed during our trip, this one stands out as the absolute best. We would stay there again and again.

(buffet style, french cheese, ham, salami, fruits, yoghurt, eggs, delicious various types of bread, etc.) Nice and helpful but not intrusive owners. They live on the upper floor of the house.
