We had a comfortable bedroom and a beautiful bathroom. French doors led into our own living room. The decor was stunningly beautiful and relaxing. Breakfasts were exceptional. Served in our own living room by our kind and friendly host and exactly when we asked for it to be served. Parking was on the street and we were given a parking disc for the day. Directions given for walking into Lille - which was easy or a very short tram ride. Local neighbourhood was good for evening dinner.

The location was excellent (just a few minutes walk to very nice restaurants and the old town, but in a quiet side street). Our car was kept securely in the owner's garage, which was very reassuring in a large city. The apartment was small but contained everything that we needed and was very clean and the owners were pleasant and helpful.

Seriously, this is one of the best hotels I have booked. Ambiance is perfect. The room is lovely, large, comfortable, clean, warm and with a beautiful view. 5-10mins walk to the center and nice bars or restaurants. Breakfast was peaceful, with a nice view and appretizing.

Lots of charm . Well equipped. Very quirky on four floors with a quaint spiral staircase. lovely high ceilings in the bedroom will tall windows . Very creaky floors !
