The location in the countryside, the personal touch in every aspect, from food to furniture: it is a family home, and they are wonderful people! The place has a beating heart, something which is very difficult to find these days.

This place was truly exceptional. When we drove up, it felt like something out of a fairy tale - the estate, the grounds, the gardens, the (very well behaved) 4 footed greeting party. The winding forest path you drive down to reach the main house is carpeted with these delicate pink violets. It was amazing. Our room was HUGE. It looked out over the gorgeous back of the property and to the farmers fields beyond. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the bathroom was large, recently remodeled and very modern. The style of the whole place had a beautiful, comfortable curated feel about it. The whole house felt filled with light. The breakfast could be taken in the dining room or outside on the huge terrace. The European style breakfast was plentiful - with several different kinds of bread and pastries and multiple types of jams/marmalades. The coffee was really good. The hosts, Laurent and Christine could not have possibly been more hospitable. For us, they were the very best part of our stay. Charming and friendly, they made us feel very welcome and we cannot wait to come back. This place was a GREAT value for our money.

We were the very first guests to stay in this accommodation, nicely renovated farm house, very modern- and clean. Located in the countryside, right next to the milk farm. The owner didn't speak much English, but at least she tried and was very nice. They they do not accept cards

An absolutely wonderful place within a short drive from Bayeux at an extremely reasonable price. Very fresh and well maintained chateau with great facilities, a lot of nice details and charming staff. The breakfast was delicious and very rich which is quite unusual for France. Hard to think of a better place to stay while traveling in the area.

This was a beautiful old French Farmhouse, the decor was lovely. And the garden was beautiful. I loved the Smart TV in the bedroom which enabled us to watch programs in English.
