This was more a B&B than a hotel in a converted, historical wine making establishment. The building was superbly updated with modern furnishing and bathroom facilities. The hostess (owner) served us a delicious breakfast with homemade minis muffins, jams, fresh fruits. She was friendly and we had great conversation. I am so glad I found this just 15 minute drive from Carcassonne in the quiet village of Rustiques. We were even lucky to join a historical walking tour with a local historian who presented in 4 different languages.

Charming enclosed property located in a small peaceful village. Great for the more quiet base near the busier touristic places. Parking is on the street close the the house. The garden with swimming pools is beautifully landscaped. Our room was on the first floor. it had a comfy bed and was stylishly decorated. The bathroom was in the hall with the direct access from the room. The breakfast was served in the cozy dining room on the ground floor. It was delicious with a good selection of food.Our hostess Virginia was friendly and spoke English.

This is an excellent place to stay; good location well furnished rooms and facilities. We will use again on our travels. Owners very accommodating, friendly and do a superb breakfast, dog friendly street narrow and on street parking is difficult.

Hosts were wonderful. She made a delicious 4-course gourmet dinner for the guests. Beautiful pool for a hot day. Short drive to medieval village. Very peaceful. Stylish decor. Very warm and welcoming.

The people at the Chateau are kind and helpful and gave us much information on the property. The area is lovely and wonderfully quiet. We definitely recommend the restaurant of the hotel which was delicious. A great stay and we'd happily come back.

It was lovely and quiet in the village and the gardens of the hotel were beautiful, we were really pleased our room opened right out onto the garden. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ate a lovely dinner in the restaurant and experienced really great service.GraceYoung couple
