Everything ! It was like a masterclass in how to run a chambres d’hôtes ! The owner, and her husband, are really nice. The property is incredibly clean. Although it’s just a few minutes walk from the centre ofClisson, it sits in a little lane, and has spacious gardens, so it’s a really quiet little oasis. There are lots of places you can sit, including two attractive terraces. There’s a kitchen you can use for drinks. The shower was excellent, both in design and in function. The breakfast was excellent : great choice including home made jams and clafoutis. And huge bols of coffee! It really was superb. Our only problem was finding it but when I phoned the owner was really helpful and came to the end of the lane. I think the problem was we were expecting a bigger road. It looks like a service road at the side of a monumental stonemason. once you’ve seen it, it’s difficult to believe you missed it (5 times in our case!) .
