we liked everything, we travelled with three children, the eldest was 4 and the youngest 7 months. Everyone was excited to sleep in a castle and cook breakfast in the real knights dining room while dancing around a vintage table to the Blues Brothers CD. The house is a genuine relic with character and its great. But dont stop here if you expect a vanilla plastic experience. Also worth a mention that they accomodated us in the local restaurant and the menu was fantastic! its an experience and one I recommend to anyone doind a cross continent trip stopping in eastern France. Do a detour, you wont regret it.

Despite the strange and remote location that seemed to take an age to get to and the rather odd set up with rooms on one side of the road and a traditional restaurant on the other it was a welcome respite when I eventually arrived and settled into my large and well equipped room. Made my way across the road to the quiet restaurant and found a surprisingly good menu. The food was very good but it seemed like the people working there couldn't wait to get finished and closed up. Can't blame them really it was early January and it was dark, cold and quiet outside and I was the only customer other than one couple.
