Good place to stay, although far from the town center, no problem arriving with a car. Easy and quick access to various places in the valley, good central location in the region. The house is newly renovated, so the environment is not yet organized, but the rooms are good. Amazing very filling varied breakfast with pancakes. Rooms are not spacious but good bathroom. The hostess is very friendly, speaks English, intelligent, communicative. Highly recommend, especially for a few days.

We loved every moment there! Perfect location to explore the historical sites, very clean, and beautifully decorated rooms. Rooms are spacious from where we had an amazing view to the river Loire. Friendly owners who are making you feel comfortable and very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and we all loved their homemade yogurt. There is an amazing garden. I spent some time there listening the chirping birds. Relaxing!

We are a retired couple traveling by bicycle with our 12-year-old grandson. Our host welcomed us and introduced his charming family, showed us our fresh and clean rooms that opened onto the gardens, and made us feel instantly at home and comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely swim and slept well in the comfortable beds. Breakfast was homemade muffins and jellies, local cheeses, eggs, croissants and bread, juice, coffee, milk—delicious. we loved our stay and highly recommend it.

The quality of the accommodation, its location and the helpfulness of the proprietors made for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Both gites are comfortable and very well equipped. There is a great deal to see and to do in the area at any time of the year though you really need your own transport, either motor or bicycle. Some of the chateaux can be expensive to visit so look out for family tickets and ‘twin’ tickets, for example joint tickets to Angers and Azay le Rideau castles. If you are travelling with a pet the vet’s practice of Dr. Andre Mitteault is recommended.
