Lovely view at Chateau d'Azay le Rideau. Delicious breakfast with lots of cheeses, all sorts of fresh bread, cakes, feuilleté, confiture, juices, fruit, sorts of tea. A large table d'hotes and the charming lady introducing the guests to each other. Classical music, also on the 'cour' outside where the young chicken were walking around, not disturbing. Large tables with candles. Great pool. Informal, shabby chique. The lady did everything to make you feel at home. Wine glasses could be taken out of the kitchen.

Warm welcome - our dog was very happy to be able to run freely around the grounds. Wonderful dinner together with the hosts and we had a great chat, delicious food including effort for my veggie daughter. So, so quiet during the night- beat and biggest bed of the entire holiday to France and yummy fresh breakfast with best coffee we had and Vegemite for the organic baguettes! What’s not to love!

A lovely old property off the beaten track, perfect for visiting Azay and the Loire. The trees are simply beautiful. Restored with a surprising Aborigine deco by the charming Australian owners, who are friendly and very helpful. A large downstairs room with all home comforts and an excellent breakfast out on the patio. Plenty of space to park. We'd gladly return.

We only stayed for one night but found the location charming with beautiful plants and flowers everywhere and interesting architectural details. Our hosts were most friendly and welcoming and we had Bertrand’s delicious homemade bread rolls for breakfast. We can certainly recommend this as a lovely place to stay.
