We stayed here after visiting Beauvais Cathedral. it is a really interesting chateau in a very quiet location. From what I was able to understand the owner is Iranian and has recruited Persian speaking Afghans to run the hotel and they did a good job (and spoke good French too). Chaumont-en-Vexin is very quiet in August and we ended up having to drive all the way over to Gisors to find a restaurant that was open for dinner.

Breakfast was delicious, good choice and very fresh. Coffee and juice were very good. Our stay here was very relaxing, the gardens are exceptional and such a beautiful location

Our host was so kind and thoughtful, the refreshing drink while sat under the magnificent Horse Chestnut tree was very welcome after a long drive from the south. The grounds are tranquil and picturesque. The room was spotless and comfortable with everything provided. Our dog was made very welcome, which is a high priority for us. We would definitely stay again, which is the best compliment that we can pay.

Cosiest beds, spacious, unique place to stay. The kitchen and shower rooms were absolutely spotless. Staying at the yurts was the highlight of our trip. Excellent hot tub. Will definitely be returning.

Ms. Edith was very warm and hospitable. The room was exceptionally clean and beautiful. It was a very peaceful and relaxing hearing the rooster in the morning. The barn with selected breed of horses was an experience and memorable. If you like a charm of being in countryside of France, this is the place to be. Hope to be able to come back in the future and able to road cycling in this region. The breakfast was a treat with a baguette, local cheese, juice, jam and coffee. It’s more to have for the morning.
