We stayed in the beautifully furnished tower room with a spacious bathroom. The parking was easy. Stèphane is a wonderful host, we enjoyed having a glass of wine in the garden and liked the restaurants he recommended to us, the center of the town only few steps away. It was a good base for exploring the castles in the Loire valley.

The Hotel is really unique. We had the "Art-Deco" room with art-deco antiques throughout the room. The room had excellent cross-ventilation and you looked directly at the Chateau's plaza. the suggested parking was only a few steps away. the location is right near the tourist office so you know that the essential sights are right around the hotel. Claire, the owner is a gem, truly gives a breakfast for 10 euros that can't be beat. She looks after everything at her hotel from greeting to preparing the breakfast to check-out. Claire, is a great, hard-working, owner. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

beautiful place , lovely large rooms , clean, close to the train station. pretty setting for breakfast every morning over looking the garden - apple, fig and almond trees. really enjoyed our stay there

Julia was an excellent hostess, aware of every need and wanting to give us a quality experience. Breakfast was delicious and filling, with the best croissants I had in my 3 weeks in France. The room was exactly as pictured in Booking. The environment was low key and relaxing.

We spent four very comfortable nights in the Poupre et Or room. The room was very spacious and the view across the Loire was magic! Breakfasts were lovely and our host very kind. The house is centrally located - we could easily walk to all the main sites and the railway station.

Fantastic breakfast, strong coffee! The hosts have a lot of visitor information and history of Blois and the surrounding areas. As most euro stays there is stairs to climb, no big deal. The location is great, a five minute walk downtown. Hosts installed air condition for the recent hot spell, worked great.
