This was the first time I had been to Sisteron, and what a beautiful town. L'Oustalet is an absolute gem! I had access to all the facilities one could need; microwave, kettle, fridge and shower, and one of the comfiest beds I have slept on. The view of the mountains was just outstanding. The breakfast the owner - and what a great host - provided was sensational; all kinds of bread, jams, home-made pancakes, cheeses and ham, and I definitely recommend this accommodation.

女性御主人がとても親切。金土の宿泊でレストランがどこも満席になることを見越し予約してくれました。実際、予約なしのお客さんが次々と断られていました。レストランは2日とも地元の食材を使った美味しい料理で、マルセイユで食べた ブヤベースよりうまかったです。2日とも二人でワインを入れて60-70ユーロ程で内容からしてリーズナブル。 このB&BはSisteron駅前からCitadelle方向へ向かい歩いて5、6分の古い教会の正面左側に位置し、経路は分かりやすいです。朝食がまた素晴らしい。地元のチーズ5種類、りんごジュース、ヨーグルト、お手製のアップルパイ、パンケーキ、ラベンダの蜂蜜、カフェオレなど大満足でした。部屋の北側窓からライトアップしたCitadelleが見え、南側には教会が見えて素敵なロケーションです。 なかなか日本からは足をのばしにくいSisteronですが、機会があればまた泊まりたいと思います。

This B&B is in a beautiful location set up a little winding road off the beaten path. It had beautiful views. Our host was not there when we arrived but kept in contact with us. They have a groundskeeper that let us in and showed us around. breakfast was served outside on the patio and was delicious. quite a grand spread.
