Andre and Jean where excellent hosts, we elected to have dinner with them and their other guests. This turned out to be an exceptional experience. Our French skills are minimal but our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and part of the dialogue. The food prepared by Andre was excellent and we had boisterous conversation with Andre, Jean and a lovely Italian couple. Their home is beautiful and very comfortable. It is located in a very rural and peaceful setting. Though we were not on bikes it appears as though this is a great way to explore this area.

The room was very small but clean and with needed amenities including a nice en-suite. The breakfast was very nice with home baked tarts. Great coffee, too. The Inn is in a quiet location with good access to Chinon and the wine country.

The bathroom was fine, we had the suite so a good amount of space and we liked the traditional decor. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
