We were amazed by hospitality of the hosts, homely atmosphere and stylish ambiance of the soulfully renovated old family estate. Children especially pointed out, how they played with inhabited there animals, and tasty breakfasts. The hosts, Denis and Katherine, being interesting and pleasant companions, were sincerely involved in helping us with many things, which was very important for us as for non-French speaking foreigners in France.

An authentic French chateau steeped in History. I loved it and wished I could have stayed longer but will definitely return. The Chateau and the gardens are gorgeous, full of French Antique furniture, very homely and unpretentious. The host is very kind and genial.

We just LOVED everything about this beautiful place! Sonia is delightful and charming, the perfect hostess with exquisite taste and superlative kindness . La Grenouillère is a lovely home which Sonia and Florian share with their guests with warmth and genuine love. Their welcome is amazing : a nice fire in the chimney, exquisite decoration , fabulous breakfast, great bedroom with a very comfortable bed. And, as a treat, we got to meet their beautiful cat, Coco Demoiselle, who normally stays out of guests' quarters. Thank you so much Sonia and Florian for looking after us like special friends. We loved meeting you both and one of you beautiful daughters. Looking forward to coming back on our next trip down to France.

Caroline is an splendid host, she cares for every detail to make your stay great. She even bakes treats for breakfast to please the customers.

Room and bed were very comfortable and the property was quiet. Great details such as wood beams and stone wall in the bathroom. The hosts could not have been friendlier. Breakfast was delicious with bread, croissants, fruit, jam, homemade yogurt and an extra treat each day (pear crumble and banana bread). Would highly recommend staying here!

It was very cozy suited our tour visiting the castles along the Loire Valley. Nice location, looking at a small river, close to Villandry castle. Parking in front of the house. The host was also very kind.
