The host was friendly and made sure that the was atmosphere superb. The beautiful old house, was restored with respect for the house but with all the comfort and modern amenities you could wish for. The big fruit garden, from which all the breakfast produce came from, and sunflower fields have a beautiful backdrop and ensured the peaceful surroundings.

Lotte’s smile made us feel instantly welcome! We arrived relatively late and headed out immediately afterwards for dinner (little did we know that they also have a table d’hôtes. Oh well, will try it next time). The room - La Cave - was spacious, very clean and a breath of fresh air after our first night in Tournus, where we did not have such a great night. The bed was very comfy and we slept very well despite being notoriously bad sleepers when on the road. Breakfast was lovely - home-made yoghurt, jam - and all kinds of other treats. Last but not least, Noortje is one of the best behaved dogs we’ve come across on our travels. They also directed us to the cave in Azé where we discovered some nice wines. We will most definitely be back!

The breakfast was amazing - local produce including grape juice from the vines. The welcome and interaction with the hosts was brilliant - and book the tour of the winery - it was the icing on the cake!

Breakfast was excellent, we had fresh yogurt from a local creamery, and Florence made some wonderful breads, as well. The location was a bit remote, but we loved the rural area and community. The historic buildings are absolutely amazing.

Fantastic bed and breakfast with a beautiful garden just next to the wine yards of Clessé. We enjoyed a memorable dinner in the garden, with a "planche" full of delicious local cheese, charcuterie and vegetables prepared by the owner, and a bottle of wine from the wine yard next to the property. We will for sure come back next time we are in the area.

authentic country house clean and lots of space. possible to use kitchen and dining room to cook up a meal. breakfast was lovely with homemade jams and pate, really tasty cheese and fresh bread and buttery croissants host are wonderful and very responsive to questions before our stay
