One last thing, before you visit Domaine Airborne, do not forget to watch "Bands of Brothers", you will understand why! Do not miss this place or you will regret!

Emilie, our gracious host, truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our children were delighted to use the beautiful large garden and enjoyed the outdoor games available to use. Situated in a prime location, La Ferme Delauny allowed us to make the most of our time in the area. Despite our short stay of a day, we managed to visit significant historical sites nearby, including Utah Beach & Museum, Pointe du Hoc, and the D-Day Experience Museum. The farmhouse's central location provided us with easy access to these iconic landmarks.

Close to the American D-Day beaches and numerous airborne drop zones it is the perfect spot for historical touring. The owner Charles is a wonderful host, even transporting my son and I to a local restaurant and the train station . The museum outside Carentan was a brilliant bonus visit but Charles’ wonderful hotel with its authentic atmosphere, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast was the highlight of our brief visit!
