Everything was great - rooms very unusual but lovely- restaurant food was amazing - you can eat cheaply in the bar but I’d spend a bit more for the great restaurant which isn’t expensive anyway

Very friendly owners! Beautiful garden and roofed parking. Every day refilled cooled water and sweet fruits (apple 🍎 🍏, pear 🍐, peach 🍑) in a fridge. Sweet small cakes and kinds of tea. Very wide home library: Encyclopedias, atlases, geological books with a local mountain stones collections and other special science books, musical and dramatic literature. All domestic is totally authentic. All of these details create absolutely relaxed atmosphere. If I'll receive a chance to return to the city of Cassà de la Selva I will try to stay here again. Highly recommended for everyone!

The building has a rich history and was well-maintained. The restaurant inside the hotel was very delicious and top-notch. The parking lot right next to the hotel, as well as the restaurant and mini-shop, were very close and convenient

After a day's walking this was the perfect place to arrive at- warm, cozy and with a restaurant downstairs serving great pizzas.

We were traveling through Spain to find a place to live. Our first stop was Santa Coloma. We reserved at Joan Fonda - where we met a wonderful and helpful older couple. Thank you, Bet, for the stay, so clean. The beds were very comfy, and towels and linens were amazingly white, with the smell of fresh and clean as at my granny in the village. I slept there like a baby!
