After a very, very long drive through the mountains we were also offered a super-tasty dinner for a very reasonable price. We were welcomed by Yaro Castro and his Family warmly. The pictures online are not faked including the impressive view. The casa victoria is a great place to explore Otavalo and the region. Busses to otavalo are 0,35$ and a Taxi costs around 3$. The breakfast is delicious and it was possible to add additional meals to the booking. All meals were as good as the breakfast. Yaro even offered to drive us to the local sights such as the Peguche waterfalls, the Otavalo market and nearby lakes. The cars used for such explorations (and also a possible airport taxi) make a very well maintained impression. Despite the current lack of reviews Casa Victoria offers a secure, nice and hospitable place to explore Otavalo and its surroundings.
