The bed was comfortable and the owner gave me some mosquito spray for the room when I told him I hadn't slept well the first night. The place is located in quite local area, so expect music and usual noise of the neighbours in the evening/night.😉 Walking distance to the Central park, Malecon and bus station. Drinking water and wifi included. Wasn't easy to find the place as there is no name on the gate but call to the owner helped. Recommended for a local vibe.

It reminded me of some pleasant budget hotels I stayed in in Barcelona about 20 years ago. Large room. Food was pretty good and hassle free, and altogether it was all very reasonably priced. There is even a cabinet of board games that you can borrow from. Staff were professional and a pleasure to deal with.

It is very quiet with lots of spaces outside your room to relax; just bring your wine, rum or cerveza. There is a swimming pool and the beach is short walk behind the hotel. The staff is very nice and the local police patrols stop by every evening to ensure safety of the guests.
