Hotel is deceptive from the outside. Looks old but is neat, clean and well kept. Lovely spacious family suite. Wholesome breakfast that met our needs.

I recently stayed at Landgasthof Kanz for one night on my way to my destination, and it was a pleasant experience. The room was nice and clean, providing a comfortable environment for a restful night's sleep. The property was easily accessible, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Overall, it was a convenient and comfortable stopover, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

A quiet place, not far from the city. the hosts are very nice. The bed is comfortable. The small kitchen is very well equipped. And finally, the view from the room is very pleasant.

A special place within an old train station. The host had done all to welcome the new guests in her recently rehabilitated place. Rooms are designed based on different themes like bicycle, lake, Lobenstein etc. I slept in the 'lake' room in which the room pictured the biggest lake in Thuringen and the bed was shaped as a boat! There is a rich breakfast as well and safe storage for the bike.

I was there for 2 nights and this hotel was the best part of memory from my trip to Bad Lobenstein, perfect location to city center and all the antiques and design around makes you feel like museum! staffs are super friendly, they even printed my train tickets before my departure. I really need to recommend to everyone who crossed by this place! (p.s. the breakfast was super delicious!!! 😋
