So I rocked up nearly an hour late due to traffic in a Luton van! Not only did they let me check in, the first words to come from the young guys mouth was “Beer?” Which I totally needed 😂 ! The place is SUPER nice for the price! You would pay easy £120 for the kind of room in the U.K(I paid £55) I can’t recommend this place enough!!

I loved everything about this property. The owners are amazingly warm and helpful beyond expectation or necessity. this is a classic stay at an Inn. A beautiful breakfast is offered. the sound of the flowing creek behind the Inn. The location was perfect for hiking the Black Forest or exploring the city. I will always have the most fond memories of my stay, my cozy room, and the comfort the owners provide.

Excellent location. The exterior is very instep with the old world town, while the inside is incredibly modern and comfortable. The bed was sooooo nice. The two women who run the property were warm, welcoming and friendly. I would stay again and again.

A perfect stop-over with super connections to Freiburg by bus then tram. We were able to leave our car safely at the guest house, which was very peaceful and comfortable. We also enjoyed our meal at the restaurant, sitting outside under the huge horse chestnut tree. Thank you!

This is a quiet and cozy apartment almost on the outskirts of the city. Nevertheless, there is a tram stop, shops, and a couple of cafes nearby. Please note that this is a private flat divided into several rooms. The setting is a bit retro, but I liked it. You can swing in a hammock, read a book taken from the shelf, or just sit with a cup of tea, looking out the window at the sunset and taking a relaxation vibe.
