This is an absolutely fantastic place for people who want to spend time in peace and away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful. There is everything you could need on site. Very close to a small beach with almost no people. Great places for snorkeling and diving. The village where De Octopus is located is friendly, peaceful and safe. I spent a wonderful, relaxing time there! To be honest, I didn't expect so many different animals (I'm not talking about the owners' wonderful dogs and cat, of course 🙂), but after all, that's what living close to nature entails. Fortunately, the mosquito net allowed me to sleep undisturbed🙂

- super quiet, we slept very well, the birds were singing in the garden <3 - wonderful facilities in the studio, the kitchen fully equipped, the shower fantastic - a great central location where we could easily catch a public bus -there is an amazing huge supermarket very close to the villa - the hosts do a really great job, their villa is gorgeous, clean and really well equipped with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool - the hosts are lovely people always there to answer your questions

The lady who received us was wonderful, and tried her best to help us enjoy our stay. The room was relatively clean, and there were towels, a toilet and a shower. The AC worked well. So did the wifi. The proprietor was very understanding when we forgot to pay and left. He waited for two days until we found a friend to go and pay him in cash. A lot of goodwill.

there is absolutely nothing not to like about Villa Tokara! We staying in the two bedroom unit with our 3 and 5 year old. it’s on the main level which was perfect for us. The room, the decor, the style, the cleanliness and the staff is all first class. we used the pool a few times a day and the absolute best part of it was that it’s pretty warm. a lot of outdoor pools are too cold to enjoy once the sun goes down but not here. it’s the perfect temperature at all times. the breakfast (especially the croissants) is unbelievable. the staff was so welcoming and friendly. we felt like we were staying at a friends place. we could walk to all of the best restaurants (which all still seemed to have kid menus!). it’s very safe and very clean. i am so glad we stayed here. oh and the king mattress was heavenly! our kids also slept really well on the two single beds. we were able to move them together (I loved how relaxed the staff was about us moving all the furniture around for our kids) they were super helpful.

Magdy the business manager is simply the best! He made sure everything we needed was provided. Such a kind and attentive host made the trip even better! The location is amazing! We were 5 mins drive or 30 mins walk to Mambo beach, 7 mins drive or 30 mins walk to Queen Emma bridge and the African museum. There is a private but quiet beach 5 seconds from the property which you can take a picnic piece to but note the water is rough there. The property has 2 pools which was just perfect for myself and my husband! We lounged in the sun for hours and totally enjoyed it. There is a communal kitchen which was sufficient. There's a supermarket 3 mins walk from the property as well if you need to stock up. The room we had was on the ground floor and was clean. No noise and no bother. Good value for money and will definitely return should we visit Curacao again. Thanks Magdy for being such a wonderful host!
