This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get to know the real Sal and its people. The owners went above and beyond to make me feel not only welcome, but truly at home. The room was super comfy, and the food was always delicious (be sure to try one of Candida's secret recipes for dinner, if you get the chance). I was provided with all the help and advice I needed in order to explore the island, and Candida and Martin personally took me to places that only local people know about. If, like me, you prefer a quiet, remote beach over those crowed, touristy ones: there's a small one just a short bicycle ride away – although I usually opted for a walk through to beautiful steppe landscape to get there. If you prefer spending your days with the other tourists down in the south of the island: Santa Maria beach is only 20 minutes by bus – which may sound complicated at first, but is actually super fun and convenient (and it only costs 1 Euro). I could go on praising this place for two weeks (which is actually the amount of time I stayed), but I'll just stop here – not without saying: Thank you, Candida & Martin, for the wonderful time at kleine schweiz! Milanca was a wonderful host and was so interesting and helpful. Room was comfortable and a it was very restful watching the ocean from the pool area.

Mimanca first of all is a very sweet and nice woman. She gave us amazing advices to visit the area and her her little hostel is very charming and comfy. We had a nice room, hot water and a direct access to the terrace. The little village of Palmeras is charming and there are no e restaurants a minute away from the hostel. My wife and I had a lovely stay.
