This place is absolutely great! I decided to stay for a week, since the location is wonderful. It's very close to the beach and next to a small river. Me, as a biologist, really loved the wildlife there. Jesus Christ lizards are running on the water in your backyard, tiger herons enjoy the sun and several king fishers fly around! Also it's very easy to take a boat from here and go into the national park. The Drake trail is nearby and that's a beautiful walking path that brings you to remote beaches. But also very important: the hosts are wonderful! I felt really safe there as a woman travelling alone. They are all very welcoming. I must admit I cried a little when I had to go. It was such a great experience. And the food is great too. Would highly recommend going there!

It’s a small place with a nice garden, therefore it’s pretty calm. The room’s decoration looks very good. Really loved the vibe of this place and the food they serve is delicious. The owners of the place are very nice and helpful! They have two lovely dogs as well. You can book tours directly from them and they have a laundry service as well.

We loved the location - so peaceful and beautiful, and so many interesting birds and animals. Our hosts were kind and helpful and the food was awesome. We had breakfast and dinner there every evening. We especially loved all the sunsets and walking on the nearly deserted beach. Would definitely stay there again and will recommend to all our friends and family.

Javier and his son were very friendly and welcoming. We took the Corcovado tour with Javier and got to see lots of wildlife. Javier made a special effort to ensure we saw Toucans back in Drake Bay after being unsuccessful in the National Park. Kitchen facilities were good with free filtered water. Room was comfortable and the air conditioning was fab (despite comments we read before, we didn’t have to pay additional for this but it was important to be considerate with its use)

Absolutely wonderful stay! I got welcomed by the very friendly and helpful owner and a baby Tucan that he rescued from the road! The location is beautifully situated in the jungle and gives you the opportunity to spot many animals around the property! Nice and spacious rooms as well. I would love to come back!

The house is located in a very peacefull environment few minutes walking from everything. There are only 3 rooms available so the place is always quiet, the kitchen is fully equipped and extremely clean as the rest of the house. The terrace outside is perfect to relax after a tiring day and to have dinner. You can chose your breakfast between a couple of options, the traditional one with gallo pinto is fullfilling and delicious! We had a beautiful time here and i highly recommend this place. Teresa and her family and staff were great - they booked our boats and tours for us and did early breakfasts. Rooms were very spacious (we had 2 triples for 4 of us). The restaurant was also excellent and well priced. AC was a must!!

Olman the owner was so kind and helpful and picked us up and dropped us off at the boat. The hospitality was exceptional. We slept in a tent and really enjoyed it. The tent was placed in a private and quiet bungalow and even had a fan in case the weather was hot. The whole property is really beautiful, in the heart of the jungle and was clean and well kept. There was even hot water in the showers and a very well equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend to everyone!
