Lala porteña is a nice house on a hill, a bit away from the main tourist drag. I had a rental car so getting around was very easy, but Valparaíso buses are efficient and Google maps public transport option will tell you which route to take. The room was nice and airy, with a comfortable bed. But really what makes this place are the hosts! Luz and Tulio are lovely people who made me feel like I was a visiting relative rather than a tourist in a hotel! The breakfast with the home made bread was a great touch too. Easily my favorite stay in Chile!

Also, a very good breakfast was served to our room at the time we specified. Communication with Alejandra (via WhatsApp) was very easy and she supplied us with many useful tipps. Also nice to take a walk to the city centre passing el paseo 21 de mayo(takes about 30 minutes). The hosts and staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
