The owner was friendly and very helpful. As there were no other guests, she kindly gave us our choice of rooms which we appreciated, We chose one overlooking the road but the only sounds we heard were of cowbells as they lulled us to sleep! There was a large common room with a kettle and plenty of tables and chairs to drink tea, play cards pr just relax. Our room was prettily decorated with matching pillows and bedspread and oodles of space including two chairs. What a shame we only had the one night to stay.

Amazing place ❤️ first, hosts- young couple- kind, well informed, both fluent in English. Then guesthouse itself- old building with fully and tastefully renovated interior. Shared bathrooms are spotless! There is a fridge and coffee machine in the hallway… and terrace with the view too ! Location is perfect, easy 15-30 minutes drive to any major attraction or hiking route.

Had a lovely evening walk in the area. Food is delicious - everything fresh and tasty. Very good beer and their cheese soup is to die for! Breakfast was plentiful - we had more than normal portions because of how good everything was! I slept really well - it was very quiet in the room and pitch dark. Comfy beds. Would come back!

I have never seen more helpful and kind staff. In the late afternoon, the staff quietly practiced playing the guitar. Which was pleasantly relaxing.
