The room was comfortable and immaculately clean, likewise the bathroom. Sipping fresh coffee in the warmth of an ancient iron range in the kitchen chatting with the hosts was a delight. The rambling house and gardens are filled with slightly eccentric artworks and an atmosphere of peace reigns throughout.

It was perfect for my 13 days stay with my family. Well equipped and well maintained (new) apartment: Plenty of light, essential kitchenware, essential cleaning ware, complimentary food supplies to help out the first days. Very nice terrasse to enjoy the afternoon sun. Surroundings: calm, a 7minutes walk away from Saint Sulpice's lake beach and promenade. Public transportation a few meters away with 3 bus stations (to Lausanne, Morges, Renens, EPFL). Easy to reach without a private car. Very nice host, always available and ready to help.

Privacy was good. Breakfast was prepared to order and always on time. Room size was ample for 1 or 2 people. Balcony was nice to have. It was about a 10 min walk to the metro station and less to a train station. The hotel staff was accommodating to my very late arrival and early starts in the morning. He also was very helpful with advice about getting around the city and solving logistical issues.

The chalet is charming, artistic, bright and beautiful. Like a little oasis in the middle of the city. The atmosphere is welcoming. And our host was very helpful and responsive at all times. The brunch every morning was delicious and more lovely than we had anticipated.
