A wonderful small family-run hotel in the centre of the old town part of Veliko Tărnovo. The location is perfect, especially as it’s located one block away from the sometimes noisy main road. It’s a well-designed new building and spotlessly clean. Miroslav, the host while I was there, was a fountain of information and tremendously helpful in making onward travel plans.

We booked an apartment for three days on Bulgaria's national holiday. The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The host was very polite — they even arranged a parking spot for us, although the place listing here stated that the hotel does not offer parking spots, and we knew that — we just asked for advice on where to park. During Bulgaria's national holiday, the city of Veliko Tarnovo is visited by thousands of tourists, and it gets pretty hard to find a place to stay, eat, or visit local landmarks and attractions. So, it was in this hotel too - there is a fast-food restaurant on the ground floor, and it gets quite visited by the people passing by (the hotel is on the main street, leading to the Tsarevets fortress - one of the most visited attractions, especially during national holidays). We were delighted to be served well by the hosts, even in such conditions. Several cats live in the backyard, so our kids were delighted to play with them. The hotel's front entrance is on the main street. Still, the back gate is at the beginning of the 'Street of Crafts' (the so-called 'Самоводска чаршия' / 'Samovodska charshiya')—one of the tourist attractions in Veliko Tarnovo, which is even greater. The 'Museum of Illusions' is just across the street—a trendy place to visit with your kids. It gets pretty visited, so the queues to enter there are long. However, since the hotel is just in front of it, we could observe when they will open it while we have breakfast and enter without waiting for hours in long queues.

Nice quiet room on the 4th floor with good views and a comfortable bed. No cleanliness issues. Good breakfast included. Short walk to a nice restaurant. The best hotel to stay in if you want to see the Tsaravets Sound, Light and Laser show - the roof terrace gives you a free grandstand view.

The room was large and comfortable, with a complementary bottle of wine and a bottle of water. Great restaurant downstairs and good breakfast in the skybar, with a nice view. We requested a parking space and we always had one available in front of the hotel. The ladies in the reception have been very helpful for every request we had.
