The host was very welcoming. The room was very nice, beautifully decorated with an artistic touch. Comfortable bed and great shower. There is a nice bar with a large selection of Belgian beers in walking distance (300m). We very much enjoyed our stay. Note: access to the room is via outdoor stairs, so not suitable for wheelchairs. However, at the top of the stairs there is a small sitting area with two chairs and a nice view - perfect for having an early morning coffee outside.

Very good location, 15 minutes from the sea and centrally positioned on the Belgian coast! Excellent hosts! Very kind and caring throughout our stay, they even treated us with juices for the kids and wine for the parents on arrival and gave us pralines as a present upon departure!!! The pictures don't do the place justice, it is a little farm with very clean and modern rooms and toys for the kids in their room and also outside. All of that for a very reasonable price for the area, I am highly recommending it!

Ruth è davvero cordiale e disponibile e tutto è curato nei dettagli. La camera è spaziosa, con letto comodo e doccia molto piacevole (c'era la vasca ma non l'abbiamo usata). La piscina bio chiaramente è fredda ma ci si scalda nella hot tub o nella sauna e l'ambient esterno ha un piacevole sottofondo musicale. Colazione ottima con dolce e salato e prodotti fatti in casa. Piacevole zona comune dove poter bere un drink o mangiare qualcosa autonomamente a pranzo o a cena. Comodo da raggiungere dista 15 minuti da Bruges. Torneremo molto volentieri.

Beautifully decorated, high spec, great facilities, stunning room. The hospitality extended by Wim and family was amazing. I read the reviews of the breakfast but nothing prepares you for the locally sourced gourmet feast that awaits each morning! There are fantastic restaurants nearby and De Haan itself is a really lovely place to go on holiday to. So many great cities and towns within a short driving distance. B&B d’oude brouwerij is a gem of a place and is faultless. You need to visit!!

We really enjoyed the hospitality of Lieve and Jan! The breakfast was very nice and delicous. Every day there was fresh bread and self made jam or juice. The location is just perfect for a weekend trip or a couple days away. It’s a 15 min drive to either the sea or to Bruges. You can also take the bus to get to the city. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! There is also a small patio to sit outside and enjoy the sun. We also really appreciated Jan’s inside tips for our Bruges tour.
