It’s a nice cozy room with nice amenities like a microwave and purchasable food items, and a large bathroom with a nice shower that even has mood lighting. The owner is very nice and offers driving services to the local stations. This was a very nice stay.

This is a wonderful place! Just like a little paradise! I have stayed here before and will stay again, and again, and again. The Rooms are very modern and new, there are drinks in the fridge, a welcome chocolate, you can check-in whenever you want (locks with key) and the breakfast is fantastic. Lots of self made special dishes and variants of fruits, cheeses, sausages... It is fantastic!

It was an old house with modern remodeling and total comfort. The bedroom was room and the king size be very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with home-made scrambled eggs with a variety of additional breakfast items. The owner was very welcoming.

This location is a hidden gem and wonderful place to stay. I would describe the location as one in the heart of Mechelen, you have a short walking distance to beautiful places. Our suite was very clean, very comfortable and cozy. We had a wonderful terrace. Nathalie is a great host, taking care of her guests, providing best recommendations. We would go again and again. Great location, great rooms, and great hosts, very lovely people that can cook a mean egg and provide a very varied breakfast. They also have a lot of brochures and provide a lot of information regarding different activities that can be done in the city.

Lunatree is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the main attractions and restaurants in the historical centre. The property has an eclectic mix of furniture and furnishings, including antique items, that provide for a wonderful stay. Serge is keen to share the history and provenance of his house and items contained therein - about which he is most engaging and enthusiastic. The breakfast is well-prepared and includes a range of local cheeses and breads, with eggs and bacon to order. Overall, a memorable stay. Lunatree and Mechelen are well worth repeat visits.
