The room is compact but perfectly adequate for two people. The winners here were the extra, thoughtful little touches that set this accommodation apart from most we have stayed in. Equally, no bargain priced appliances or fittings were to be found, only good quality throughout. Scrupulously clean and tidy, Just two minutes walk to the main street, it would be hard to find fault with Richmond Barracks (We were in "The Cellar" room - lovely!).

If I could give this stunning property more than 10/10 I would. It is simply beautiful and has real heart. We stayed in Garden Cottage. The enormous bed has lovely linens, in every room (and in addition to a large bedroom with ensuite bathroom there is a lounge and a dining room) there are beautiful items which have been thoughtfully placed to enhance your experience, and it has a real charm as well as a fascinating history which Maureen has recorded for your interest. In addition to all this, the garden is pretty, the location superb, close to Richmond’s centre, and the included breakfast - juice, toast, cereal, fruit and yoghurt, and blueberry pancakes scattered with fresh blueberries and raspberries and a jug of maple syrup - simply beyond anything you would get in a cafe! Maureen clearly has put real love into this place which she and Robbie have so beautifully restored, and it shows at every turn. I cannot recommend Mulberry Cottage highly enough.

The historic cottage was a lovely oasis, pretty as a picture, clean and beautiful inside. Everything for a comfortable stay was provided including fresh little vases of flowers. Frome the large windows there were views over the farmland and the location is very handy for sightseeing around Richmond and the Eastern Bays. The wood heater was a real bonus and the cottage stay was a highlight of the trip.

The accomodation was beautifully designed, as a cozy haven in the vineyards. Everything we could think of was provided - espresso coffee machine, light breakfast items, and amazing views. The location was perfect as we were spending our days exploring the wineries, all within 5-10 minutes from the Loft. Our hosts were very accomodating, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway experience.
