We loved everything about our two-day stay here from the moment we arrived and got help parking our car to the moment we left with hugs from the owners. The location right near an amazing beach, the comfy and clean room with a little balcony, the use of bicycles to ride around the lagoon, the maps and information about the area, the attention to every detail, and the absolutely amazing and generous breakfasts and dinner (try the clams!) were only a few of the highlights, but absolutely the biggest reason why we loved our stay here was because the young couple who owns and runs this lovely place are simply amazing! They are both so kind, friendly, helpful, patient and generous. They are also super interesting and interested. Their love of their local area and products and of the family history behind O Violas is so apparent and infectious. We highly, highly recommend this guesthouse for at least two nights for people who want to experience true Portuguese hospitality at its finest!

Amazing views! The house was impeccably clean and the host (Sra Virgínia) was absolutely lovely to us and even made sure we had a special treat for our anniversary!

Communication with the owner was seamless. She was very accommodating of our unpredictable arrival time as we were arriving by bicycles. I let her know 15 minutes before arrival and she met us promptly. We were very happy that the apartment was able to accommodate our bicycles providing a secure storage. The suite was very clean and spacious. Overall an excellent experience.

We were off season and the only guest in the hotel. It made the experience Fantastic. There's a "like at home" vibe with a help yourself kitchen and facilities. We could use the barbecue, the rooftop and the kitchen area which is really helpful. It's in a quiet area a bit far to big cities but really close to the beach (10 minutes walk). Room is clean and nicely decorated with all the basics. If you're looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy the ocean, that's for you. The trust given by the owner is a rare thing these days and gladly appreciate. Would definitely come again!, Thanks again!
