Property was spotless. Owners live downstairs so easy to get help from them. Just a bedroom like a hotel, not an apartment. Easy to walk to restaurants and other places in town.

I paid 10 EUR extra for breakfast and it was very strange to only get 5 eggs, two with double yolks, all of them turned out to be raw; I had a problem with how to cook them because the hosts disappeared and there was only a coffee kettle in the room, but I got it sorted. On the outside door I found a bag of fresh bread delivered at night. There was milk, cheese and tasty marmalade in the fridge. The biggest surprise was the free bicycle with helmet and pump waiting for me in a nice patio. The ocean cliffs near Maria Vinagre are very beautiful, but the shortest trip is 3 km by bike. I liked the wild Praia da Carriagem approached from Rogil . In Rogil there is a very good country restaurant Da Batata Doce open late at night where all dishes, desserts and drinks contain sweet potatoes.

Travelling all over the world to more than 50 countries I must say I couldn't feel more at home in my own country. Casa morais is literally your perfect odeceixe getaway. Alzira (owner) is such a lovely host plus clean and comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast will ground you for extra days non planned! Totally recommend.

We love Monte do Cardal, had a fantastic time there. Very nice resort and very friendly people. The family appartement is sooo nice and big. The only thing was that one could hear everything from the neighbours. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic and of course the nice pool area as well! We will definetly come back😇

The place is amazing, very comfortable and the owner is extremely kind and helpful. He gave us a lift with his car to go the restaurant and helped us to choose the best fish available. Small details that meant a lot to us. He also prepared us a great aperitif and an outstanding breakfast. We really enjoyed staying there

Breakfast was absolutely lovely and the grounds are so beautiful and spotless. We met a couple of cute and friendly cats, which is always a bonus! The staff also gave us a great steakhouse recommendation for Altura Steakhouse. It was one of our favorite meals on the trip! Wish we could’ve stayed longer :)
