I paid 10 EUR extra for breakfast and it was very strange to only get 5 eggs, two with double yolks, all of them turned out to be raw; I had a problem with how to cook them because the hosts disappeared and there was only a coffee kettle in the room, but I got it sorted. On the outside door I found a bag of fresh bread delivered at night. There was milk, cheese and tasty marmalade in the fridge. The biggest surprise was the free bicycle with helmet and pump waiting for me in a nice patio. The ocean cliffs near Maria Vinagre are very beautiful, but the shortest trip is 3 km by bike. I liked the wild Praia da Carriagem approached from Rogil . In Rogil there is a very good country restaurant Da Batata Doce open late at night where all dishes, desserts and drinks contain sweet potatoes.

a wonderful location in the heart of the city. sitting at a walking distance from the city’s greatest sights, shops and restaurants. The owner was absolutely wonderful and friendly, the prices were acceptable and the breakfast was realy great.

Excellent breakfast, beautiful outdoor space. Bikes were available and the bike trail to Rogil was beautiful early in the morning.

The stay was beyond my expectations! Victor is an amazing host, always willing to help or advise. He created a place that is not only eco friendly, off the beaten track and serene, but also where you can really feel like home. He puts so much love into his cooking, that you shouldn’t miss his dinners! (Breakfast is included). For the New Years he prepared a real feast. I don’t mind the beds that much as long as I get to have such a real and beautiful experience. I will definitely be back. And recommend this place to all nature, animals and countryside lovers.
