The accommodation is located about 400m from the beach. One sleeps there very quietly. The equipment, especially the kitchen, is complete. It is very spacious. The price-performance ratio is very good. The hosts took great care of us, as it rained about 80% of the time during our stay. They recommended a trip with a miniature railway ("Awakeri Rail Adventures"). There we were alone with the operator Paul, because of the weather. Afterwards, if it rains, you can go to the "Hot Pools" in Awakeri. The outdoor seating, which is covered, should be mentioned positively against the background of rainy weather. All in all, we had lovely days in this accommodation, despite the weather.

best holiday park ever! the family cabin we had with two rooms was spacious and super clean. the beds comfortable and everything impeccable. the staff super nice and the whole park absolutely well maintained!! better than any hotel family room/apartment we had in NZ so far.

The location was beautiful so close to the ocean. Wonderful view with a balcony outfront. Not a big unit but still ok for the two of us.

My Husband and I walked along the Beach then, had a beautiful breakfast at a Cafe just 5 minute walk from our gorgeous little accommodation. Such a great place to stay. I would recommend Ohope Beach to every Traveler looking for somewhere to stay. Beautiful beach, Fabulous Cafes and Restaurants, Grocery Stores and a couple of pretty Little Boutique and Gift shops if your looking for that special little something.

Beautiful setting with long, flat, walkable beach. Great view of ocean, balcony with comfy chairs. Really nice apartment with everything you could possibly need. Wish we could have stayed longer! Pat and Glynis are friendly, impeccable hosts.
