This place is just amazing!! It’s a piece of paradise, so quiet and peaceful, the best spot to relax in this area for sure! The owner family is extraordinarily kind and friendly, always there whenever you need something, but still always respecting your privacy. The room is big, well equipped and superclean, couldn’t ask for more. And as cherry on top of all this goodness is to mention the food, which is always freshly cooked and just delicious. Gorgeous location on the lake, surrounded by wild life and a beautiful nature. Very spacious, comfortable, and clean room. Clean and spacious bathroom. The host family is very sweet. They take great care of you, and you only have to ask. Nice and clean sharing kitchen with a conventional oven and electric kettle. Sudhu organizes boat tours on the lake to Bird Island, Temple Island, and Cinnamon Island, which I highly recommend if you're interested in the traditional making of cinnamon. Don't miss lunch or dinner at Kola restaurant, on the lake too. Sudhu can take you there by boat, too. If you're fortunate, you might even spot a crocodile cruising in the water. This is an ideal accommodation for a relaxing, peaceful, stay in the midst of nature and with a wonderful, caring family. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, so we extended our stay to 3 nights and will be back before leaving SL. This location is for nature lovers: we saw eagles, cormorants, fish, monkeys, squirrels, all types of birds, lizards, geckos, and 1 croc in the lake. Nature also means ants and other insects that can share your bathroom at times. Nothing much you can do abt it, but if you dislike sharing with small critters, then you should avoid nature.

I’ve booked for 3 nights and I ended up staying 1 week. I would have stayed more if I could. Next time I come I will def stay here. It’s perfect for digital nomads. I felt like I was living there. The owner and all the staff are soooo friendly and they make you feel at home. Best part is the food of the cafe and restaurant. They do theme nights at the restaurant and fortunately my last night, Angelo Saltamonte, an amazing Italian singer was performing and it was the perfect way of saying goodbye to Sri Lanka. Couldn’t have been a better place to stay.

Excellent value for money, friendly staff, the quiet beach location of Habaraduwa. Breakfast is the same every day, but good. There are several cafes along the beach. 1 minute walk to the beach. The room was clean.

This family run business is headed by Nimal, who looked after me very well. It’s a lovely setting, room was very clean, i got a big breakfast everyday - and it’s great value for those travelling on a budget. Thanks!
