The location was very central. You can get to a Lawson or 7eleven in about 5 minutes. There are many little Izakayas around and also some restaurants. The staff was very nice and their english was very good (for western travellers). As it was my 1st time in an Onsen i dont know if others can be better but it was very comfortable. Also was i allowed in there with tattoos on both arms. The guest room was a little bit small but we didnt mind at all. We could fit in there with our whole luggage so it was fine. They also had a nice guest area where you could talk and exchange stories with others. All in all it was very pleasant stay and i can recommend it to anyone who wants to go to Japan. Thank you.

ご飯は食べきれないほどでどれも美味しかったです。 貸切のお風呂（露天風呂）は最高に気持ち良かったです。 眺望も良く、静かでくつろげて最高の滞在でした。 チェックアウト時のおにぎりも美味しくいただきました。

The view from your room is amazing and I love the Japanese style room. The owner suggested a restaurant on the beach and it was really good (fish) It is easy to reach from the station but be aware there is a really step 20 feet to go from the road to the property. If you are going to the Zoo with the Capibara there is a bus to get there (but you do have to walk 20m and it is a bit tricky to figure out which bus stop) Internet worked well. Be aware this is not a luxory acomodation but if you are looking for piece and quite with a beautiful ocean view this is a fantastic bargain!

Staying in this hotel in Ito was the highlight of the trip! The room had a tatami sea view and an in-room onsen for just over 8100 yen. They also offered a private open-air onsen for 4500 yen/3 hours, which is great value. Initially, I hesitated about staying in Ito for a night, but after visiting, I definitely think I should have stayed another day to relax and sunbathe by the sea. There's no need to rush.

I really enjoyed the spectacular breakfast buffet which I had on both days. The walk by the ocean was wonderful. The room was very big, much too big for one person. The onsen was beautiful, with indoor and outdoor areas, and a cold plunge area. The building was kept up well, and seemed like it was from the 80s. Nice modern and at the same time old-fashioned. The rooms were spare, but had nice woodwork, and comfortable futons and tatami sitting area, as well as a western sitting area. The room was very quiet, but also probably was at half-occupancy. If I go back I will certainly enjoy that breakfast again (traditional plus western ), and spend more time in the onsen. I had a wee bit of trouble making my way around the town, because of my very limited Japanese. I visited right after the restrictions were dropped, in late December 2022, and had to figure out how to communicate. I walked all over the town, and a lot of things were closed because of the holiday. There were some really nice renewal projects: the sea walls, the clear water at the seaside, and there were fantastic pathways connecting through the townalongside the rivers. These were totally worth following along.
