Clare and Kev are wonderful hosts, very warm, friendly and welcoming, they couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The room was spacious and very pretty with snacks, tea and coffee provided along with a scrumptious full Cornwall breakfast lovingly prepared by Kev each morning. Penzance train station is about a 10 minute walk and there’s a bus stop 3 minutes away which travels to most tourists attractions for only 5 pounds per day. I would definitely recommend Bay Lodge and are thankful to Clare and Kev for being such fabulous hosts.

I loved the way the glass doors opened up to the delightful garden, so even though you are inside it feels like being outside.Also liked the sunny patio.The cottage is light and spacious , the kitchen well stocked and there is a great selection on the TV. Wifi was easy to access and very fast. Shower is excellent. The welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, jam, Prosecco and cookies was indeed most welcome.

We were extremely comfortable in this spacious cottage and enjoyed living amongst tastefully chosen paintings and decorations. Kitchen was well stocked with eating and cooking utensils. One of the only places we found with private parking on the premises.

The property is a spacious traditional Victorian house, nicely renovated. The rooms are large and superbly decorated. We stayed in a sunny room on the first floor with grand views of the surrounding garden. Overall very clean and stylish. Breakfast is served in a dining area around a common large table. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Parking outside on the street is free and we had no trouble to find a parking space during our two days in Pencanze. Cheers to Ally, Mike, and Elvis.

Check-in was a breeze. The room was wonderful, spacious, well-furnished and equipped, and comfortable. Located just a short walk away from the waterfront promenade. Wonderful breakfast is offered in the mornings.
